This day is going to be perfect
The kind of day that I wanted all along
Everybody would gather in
Say that I look handsome in my suit
What they don't know is that I do not belong

This day was going to be perfect
The kind of day I was planning for so long
But instead of having cake
I'm once again combatting fate
Those wedding bells they're not so good for me at all

I could care less about distress
I won't partake in any cake
Vows? You'll be lying when I say
That through any kind of weather we will always remain together
The truth is that I don't care for her at all
